Geophysics surveying provides archaeologists with a non-invasive way of detecting archaeological remains. This study day provides an introduction to archaeological geophysics by explaining how the different techniques work, how to carry out geophysics surveys using a resistivity meter and a magnetometer, and how to interpret the results.
